OpenSSH with Segmentation fault
After installation of HP-UX Secure Shell (T1471AA), Revision A.03.50.000 I can't connect to servers with (commercial) ssh-3.2.x (with HP-UX, Solaris, Irix). It results in "Segmentation fault (core dumped)". Connections to servers with OpenSSH are working fine. I tried it on different machines, all PA-RISC2 and HP-UX 11i.
# ssh -v -l myname remotehost
OpenSSH_3.5p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090609f
23072: debug1: Reading configuration data /opt/ssh/etc/ssh_config
23072: debug1: Rhosts Authentication disabled, originating port will not be trusted.
23072: debug1: ssh_connect: needpriv 0
23072: debug1: Connecting to remotehost [128.130.xx.yy] port 22.
23072: debug1: Connection established.
23072: debug1: identity file /home/myname/.ssh/id_rsa type -1
23072: debug1: identity file /home/myname/.ssh/id_dsa type 2
23072: debug1: Remote protocol version 1.99, remote software version 3.2.3 SSH Secure Shell (non-commercial)
23072: debug1: no match: 3.2.3 SSH Secure Shell (non-commercial)
23072: debug1: Enabling compatibility mode for protocol 2.0
23072: debug1: Local version string SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.5p1
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Connecting to an OpenSSH-Server the next lines would be
23595: debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEXINIT sent
23595: debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEXINIT received
etc.
Thankyou for any advice!
Fritz Mayer

Re: OpenSSH with Segmentation fault
I don't suppose those servers can be upgraded. I remember reading a note that said these kind of errors was one of the reasons was released.
