Oracle 10g on A-class

Has anyone installed Oracle's new RAC on an A-class server?

Re: Oracle 10g on A-class

That hardware with enough memory is more than adequate for 10g.
I've got 10g running quite nicely on an old Pentium 1 Ghz with 512 MB(Linux). That is due to RISC/CISC a substantially less capable platform than the A-Class(my opinion).

Just make sure the A class has sufficient memory and disk space available.

Re: Oracle 10g on A-class

There is a minimum config that you would want to boost somewhat.

512Mb RAM
2Gb swap
3Gb fs for product install
