Oracle 11.5.2 install on hp-ux 11

I am attempting to install oracle 11.5.2 on HP-UX 11.0. The rapid install wizard is not picking up the host name. This causes a great number of problems further down the install process. Has anyone experienced this before? How and where does rapidwiz retrieve the host name of the server?

I have similar problem on a solaris box. The rapid install was installing on "localhost" machine. We solved it modifying the /etc/hosts file as follows:
127.0.0.1 localhost
10.53.0.40 machinename.mydomain.com machine loghost
client always has the reason??

I managed to solve the problem. My hostname variable was set to something other than the server alias that was given in /etc/host. I reset hostname to the correct alias and the install progressed nicely. Thanks for your reply.
