Oracle 8.1.7 on HP-UX 11i (64 bits)

Greetings,

I just got from Oracle Metalink that still no Oracle versions are certified for HP-UX 11i (64 bits)...

This is hard to believe...

Is there anyone running Oracle Enterprise Server 8.1.7 on HP-UX 11i?

TIA,

Kind Regards,

Rui.

Re: Oracle 8.1.7 on HP-UX 11i (64 bits)

There definitely are versions of Oracle that are ok for 11i.
I am uncertain which versions, but certainly ther ewould be a major problem if this were not so, as SuperDome only supports HP-UX 11i, and there are SD systems out there running Oracle.

Hi there.
Oracle 8.1.7 IS certified with HP-UX 11i .
Checked it on the Certification Matrix in Oracle. But you better get the patchsets need for that as well ( Oracle AND HP-UX ).

You could read the following article on 9i Oracle on a SuperDome:
