Oracle 8i 3 node OPS lmd/lcd unix daemons on HPUX

Has anyone had any experience permanently binding the Oracle OPS lmd daemon to a specific CPU (we have 8)? Today, it is constantly swapping and switching CPU's. We are hoping by binding it it will improve overall performance (locks and CR Requests).

Has anyone had experience firing up more then 1 lck daemon?

Have you had good or bad experiences trying to do either of these?
