Hi,

Is Oracle 9i RAC is different from Oracle 9i?? From where can I download Oracle 9i RAC. I remember downloading and installing it some 2 years back but I can't find the link now in otn.oracle.com.

Hmmm, I thought RAC code was just part of the regular distriution, and you enable it during installl (while in a cluster) or by explicit rebuild with something like:

make -f ins_rdbms.mk rac_on


I'm sure the a little more poking at the oracle/otn/metaling sites will give your reams of uefull input.

Oracle 9i RAC is part of the regular distributution, however it is not available unless you have the MCSG-OPS or RAC software installed on the system as well, and you have done some of the initial steps to get the cluster formed (cmclnodelist is important). You should know that it is available when it asks you if you want to install the binaries on other systems with an initial pop-up window.
