Oracle 9i on HPUX Workstation

Hi

Iam have an HPUX Workstation c8000,It has base OS

HPUXBase64 B.11.11 HP-UX 64-bit Base OS
HPUXBaseAux B.11.11.0612 HP-UX Base OS Auxiliary

My question is can I install oracle 9i on this system ? Or else will I have to install some other software to enable my OS to be able to install oracle.

Actually I tried to install oracle but then I get a big list of patches to be installed.

You have only the HPUX Base OS installed. YOu may need to install patches/updates returned by the oracle installer.

Can you tell me if I can get it consolidated from some where.

I tried to get some patches ,.... but again I get error like

Could not apply the software selection "PHCO_21187,r=1.0"
because there are no product variations that are compatible
with the destination host(s).
* Software selection failed for

This is a 11.00 patch, it won't go on 11.11.

If your oracle installer is going to give you 11.00 patches, you're not going to get anywhere.

please confirm which version of OS is on the workstation.

Did you run the RDA script to check which configuration/software/patches are required for the installation?

Thanks all. I was able to install oracle 10G successfully.

I was able to get the required softwares and patches from CD.
