You don't need to setup floating IP for RAC, you just need to configure listener.ora and tnsnames.ora properly

You don't need to setup floating IP for RAC, you just need to configure listener.ora and tnsnames.ora properly. See listener for one server of RAC, update it for rest machines of RAC.

Hi Wish,

As far as I know, when you install RAC, you already need to have SG software installed. RAC installation procedure builds SG cluster by itself, you only have to answer some questions.
