Oracle and HP servers

I am running the full suite of Oracle software (financials, order processing, manufacturing). I was wondering if there was someone out there who I could call with a similar environment just to talk about some HP server sizing questions I have.
Much appreciated!

Re: Oracle and HP servers

I think you will find no one with the exact same environment as you have. However, I think you will find loads of people on these forums who are running Oracle applications on HPUX, any type, any size.

Your sizing will not only depend on the applications you will run, but mainly on the volumes of data and the intensity of usage.

Just post your specific questions, and I'm sure you'll get many useful replies.

Re: Oracle and HP servers

You can post your specific questions and people like me can answer them for free and points.

My shop uses the EE database server and the 9ias suite of products which share a lot of technology with the producsts you mention.

I'm sure you can find someone with more experience and pay them for a few hours of sage advice.

We are currently using Oracle Application 11.0.3 (order entry, manufacturing, inventory, purchasing). You may take a look at the attached doc for space management tips.
