Oracle upgrade with SG

Hi

We have Oracle RAC 10.2.0.2 in HPUX RISC 11.11 with Service Guard and we are planning to upgrade the oracle installation to 10.2.0.3. We will also create additional logical volumes and vgextend existing volume groups. No new shared vgs will be created.

My question is: do we have to change anything on the SG after the upgarde?

Best regards

Re: Oracle upgrade with SG

Shalom,

No.

A rolling upgrade should work just fine.

If the upgrade involves updating the structure of the database downtime will be required.
