Oracle vr HP

Buen día!
Mi consulta es la siguiente:Tengo un equipo HP con las siguientes características: Model 9000/800/L2000-44, Main Memory 2304 MB, Processors 2, OS mode 64 bit, HP-UX version B.11.11.
Necesito instalar la Base de Datos Oracle 8i.
¿Es más seguro y más eficiente instalarla en raw device o file systems?
¿La conexión del aplicativo es igual cuando la B.D. está en raw device y file systems?

There used to be a major difference, but not with the newer JFS. So I'd stick with filesystems (easier to see that the logical volume or disk is in use).

It is best to have on OnlineJFS, so you can use mount options to avoid double buffering Oracle. See the attached.
