Can someone help me installing the oracle8.1.7 on HP-UX 11.11. Is there any Installation guide there?

I tried to do the above instance...
and I have installed oracle8.1.7 on hpux11.00 or hpux 10.*. many many...
But On hpux11.11, Database creation error is occurred...
error message : end-of-file communication...
On hpux11.00, No problem...
please help me.....

Hello,
I guess you succeeded in installing the Oracle software, but the database creation fails with ORA-03113.

If so, you need to know that Oracle has been developed with glibc 2.1.3, and it doesn't work well with glibc 2.2.
Get the Oracle glibc patch (oracle_glibc-2.1.3-stubs.tar.gz) : it comes with glibc 2.1.3 files to be installed in Oracle libraries.
