Oracle8i for HP UX 11.0

We use HP UX 11.0 on the HP V class servers.

Please advise me on the configurations/setup that would be required on the HP UX 11.0 for the successful installation of ORACLE 8i.
Thanks
Faizer

Re: Oracle8i for HP UX 11.0

Pretty broad topic. Look at: Install Guide Release 2 (8.1.6) for HP 9000 Servers and Workstations.

Gives all neccessary steps for pre-configuration and installation of Oracle 8i. The install guidr for 8.1.6 isn't availble on OTN so here's 8.1.5... http://otn.oracle.com/doc/hp/server.815/a67162/toc.htm

I noticed when looking for the 8.1.6 release guide I found it when I clicked on the tab that said VERSION 9.
