What is the maxium distance that Oracle9RAC run between nodes?

Assumptions:
Latest Fibre HBA/SAN configuration
HP-UX 11i
ServiceGuard-OPS S-LVM
or
Veritas Advance server edtion for RAC on HP-UX

Hi Frank,

I see RAC for highly scalable and HA enviroments but definitely not for DR site.

It becomes more of a cost if you plan to separate nodes from the data center and scalibility becomes a question unless you have the best of the worlds in everything.

If you are looking for a DR solution along with scalability, then go with RAC on site and have a standby (data gaurd) on the remote site.
