Hello,
So a while back someone here suggested I get Ghostscript in order to get PDF printing to work on HPUX. That works fine, thanks but now I have another problem related.
Some applications running on our server generates PDF reports that we print off, and some of these PDF files have writing very close to the bottom of the page. When I print these reports, a single line is cut off from the bottom of the page.
I tried printing it from my desktop running Windows, it seems to just resize the page so it'll fit better.
The PDFs are printed in legal size, here's the process I use:
pdf2ps
lp -d -o
I've tried several options from the net_ljx000 model script man page including specifying: legal, ps, lpi48, fp16, c, any options I could find to adjust the font size or lines per inch . None of them made any visible difference on the page.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I don't print anything from my HP-UX systems,
so I know nothing, but I'd guess that once
you have created the PostScript, you have
defined the margins (along with everything
else), so there's nothing the model script
can to to help you. I'd look at options to
"pdf2ps" to see if there's any hope there.
Or, fix the original PDF generator, so that
you get suitable margins to begin with.

Re: PDF printing problem with HP-UX
Thanks for the response. I tried the options in ghostscript for manipulating the height/width etc. None of that worked so I'll have to try and get the PDF generated differently like you said. thanks again for the help.
