PLEASE HELP ME!
I'm having a hard time trying to get my cd writer plus 7200e series that's plugged into the printer port.
On my previos O/S i had my CDW working perfectly Now that i've upgraded to win2000
I Havn't got it to work for a long time.
I 've been trying so many different drivers to
work but no success. I got the EPATAP2K.INF driver file Windows sees another drive now
but when i put any disk in the cdw the reading light stays on and my computer wont read the drive!
What do i do?
Please help me I can't go back to win98 without
formatting my Hard drives back to a fat32 file
system.

Re: PLEASE HELP ME!
Hello:
If you go to http://www.hp.com/cposupport/information_storage/support_doc/lpg40837.html
you'll see that you need epatap2k.inf AND firmware upgrade to v3.01 AND Windows 2000-compliant software. There should be a link for each of those.
I don't know what software/versions came with your drive but it's possible that you may be able to download an upgrade to something WIN2K-compliant at http://www.roxio.com/en/jhtml/support/webcheckup.jhtml
Good luck!
