Page count problems in LaserJet HP 2200 and HP2300

Dear all,

I would like to collect the page counts from users, and I collect such information from Windows EventLog.

However, I find that there is page count incorrect in some cases below, for example:
1) Print 5 pages with 2 pages/sheet, it shows the page count is 6 pages
2) Print 5 pages with 4 pages/sheet, it shows the page count is 8 pages

Besides, how can I set the page counts with the following specifications:
1) Print 2 pages with single side, page count is 2 pages
2) Print 2 pages with double side, page count is 1 page
3) Print 2 pages with 2 pages/sheet, page count is 1 page
