Partition problem

My server has install the Lilo and two OS ??? Linux & Windows, the system is crashed after I try to install linux 7.3 , now the server only shows the message ???LI??? when boot up, I think the Lilo partition has problem. How can I resume the windows ? Thanks.

How can i completely uninstall the linux without affect the windows? Thanks.

you can use fdisk to make the windows partition active. Then after rebooting the windows partition should start.

After that you can remove the linux partitions with fdisk, and give them back to windows.

Use another Win95 or Win98 workstation to format a bootable floppy and copy the \windows\command\fdisk.exe program to it. Boot the affected machine from this floppy and at the A: prompt type fdisk /mbr remove disk and reboot. Depending on your version of windows you may be able to remove the Linux partitions with fdisk or use something like PartitionMagic or the Linux install disk.
