Pavilion dv9535nr Audio Problem

I dual boot my laptop with SuSE Linux 10.2. The installation and all drivers work well except for the audio - I can't seem to find a way for linux to recognize the soundcard/Altec Lansing speakers. Any ideas?

Re: Pavilion dv9535nr Audio Problem

It looks like that model has "Realtek High Definition Audio". There is a download of source code for a driver module at
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3
which might work with SuSE Linux 10.2. The README does mention SuSE, but not a specific version.
