Pavillion zd7000 power problems

For nearly the entire time I've owned this machine, I've had problems with the power supply not connecting properly. Visually, it goes in, but I have to seriously fenagle it to get it to connect and charge.

I've sent it in for service once and it cleared up for a couple weeks and then the same old thing.

Any input would be appreciated

Re: Pavillion zd7000 power problems

By the sounds of it, you've had the Pavillion from new. I would say send it back to HP again - they have a responsibility to fix it.

Which connection is dodgy? The connection between the mains lead and the AC adapter or the connection between the AC adapter and the notebook (I assume the latter). BTW, what did you send in? The notebook or the AC Adapter?

Is this a complaint on a notebook or a desktop computer?

Re: Pavillion zd7000 power problems

Nate,
as this problem has nothing to do with Microsoft and obviuosly is a hardware problem, I would suggest to ask in the proper forum of the "Business Support Forums" area.
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/bizsupport/home.do?forumId=2

Pls select the section for your computer (notebook or desktop).

Re: Pavillion zd7000 power problems

Nate,
sorry, I am not good at sailor words. So the rest is not understandable for me.
But no need to continue translated. It's more then just enough already.

This for sure is the rudest attack I ever saw in the HP forums.

And why?
Only because of trying to HELP you by pointing to where you would have to ask to find support for your problem.

Be assured: This is so far has been a place for people behaving in a civilized way.
And I hope it will remain like that.

Re: Pavillion zd7000 power problems

In case anyone else might come to this thread:
Nate had posted whole bunch of abbreviations and then - on my asking what that might mean - unfolded them. It was a collection of rudest words thinkable. Obviously moderators have cleaned the thread.
Thanks!!

This leaves my remaining last postings without sense.
