Performance Issue with Oracle 10g on HP-UX 11v2
Hi All,
Initially we have installed Oracle 10g on HP-UX 11i, it was working fine without any performance issues, but the same when installed on HP-UX 11.2 we are facing performance issue. A select query which run for hardly 3 secs on 11i has taken more than 10 minutes to produce the result set on 11.2. How do we go about performance tuning on Oracle 10g to enhance its performance?
Regards,
Balaji A.

Re: Performance Issue with Oracle 10g on HP-UX 11v2
Shalom,
You might try matching your kernel parameters to what you had on 11.11 as a start.
Updating the OS naturally resets important parameters.
Performance tuning in general does not change that much OS version to OS version.
