Port already logged on port xxx problem!!
Hi All,
We have configured HP-APA in manual mode having two ports in the aggregation. But while starting HP-APA i end up with the following problem.
Protocol already logged on port 3.
I have already deleted the IP assigned to the port.

Re: Port already logged on port xxx problem!!
Hi Amit,
What OS are you running? Have you tried configuring the APA trunk using SAM or SMH or are you doing it manually?
Can you provide the following files:
/etc/rc.config.d/netconf
/etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaconf
/etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaportconf
/etc/lanmon/lanconfig.ascii
If you are running 11.31 (11i v3) then I'd encourage you to try configuring the APA trunk using the SMH web browser. This has always worked well for me and the user interface is pretty easy to follow.
Regards,
Dave
