Printer forms and HP-UX
I am in search of a solution to what would seem to be a very basic issue.
We currently have several HP-9000 servers running HP-UX. Our accounting package allows us to customize our printed output (invoices, statements, etc).
The problem occurs when we try to create a form macro for the numerous laserjet printers that we have (which are network attached). The current solution is to create the form on a windows 3.1 PC and 'sneaker net' the results to a windows 98 PC which is network attached. At this point we use jetdirect to download the macro.
The question is this. Is there a software product (that doesn't cost thousands) that can do this directly from HP-UX?
If there isn't one, there sure should be.
TIA

Re: Printer forms and HP-UX
Hi Terry:
Interesting enough there is a thread dealing with this issue opened today. My answer is the same.
