Hi!

Some of our users must have privacy related to their Internet access, so I have a squid proxy that generates a report including for each domain username, the urls accessed. This report is based in access.log file, that is generated by squid software. Is there any way to specify in squid.conf, some domain users that can be allowed to access internet sites and their access don't be written in access.log??

If they *must* have privacy, consider allowing them to bypass squid.

Hello Tiago,

You can always "grep -v" (remove) those lines from the logfile before it gets processed. You could grep by IP for instance, meaning that all lines in the log for those people would be erased before yor log processing tool takes place.

(Unless, of course, you're concerned about the invasion of your own privacy by someone who controls the logfiles... That's a totally different problem) :)
