Problem Getting Files To HP-UX Suppport

One of our Dev Teams has a problem and we have been asked to send some diagnostic information to the following address

allianceone.dev@hp.com

They have requested that we send the some logs (as zip files) attacthed to the note. The only notes they are recieve from us are the notes with NO attachments . I have asked them if they have a screening device in between us and the say no . The mail address the we are using is for HP Support issues and that it is used for customers to send information to them.Any Ideas why the attachments are not reaching them . Our mail infrastructure support teams confirm that tey can see files  leaving us . Has anybody else seen a problem like this ? - I

Re: Problem Getting Files To HP-UX Suppport

The attachment may be much too large?

Ask them for a FTP site, this is what they use to do for tranfering large files.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Hello,

As provided by @Torsten you can ask for FTP site when it's a big file ( log, crash, etc ..) or use your proper FTP provider or FTP account to provide logs.

Error may be related to outlook or other maling server attachement size.

I think for exchange default max attachement size is 10MB
