Runtime environment

* HP-UX 11i v1 with the latest recommended patches

* PHSS_33033 is a required patch to run Firefox/Thunderbird.

when we click F1 over the help menu, application try to open with new tab of firefox

It's maybe blocked by the popup blocker?

Sorry, but it doesn't make sense to use an HP-UX server for browsing. Why don't you use your windows/linux client machines? You could reach that side from a client machine without problems.

This just says what it is suppose to do, not how it does it.
You can't do anything at the lowest level without a fork/exec or sending a message to a socket.

Using tusc to attach to your application may give you a clue on what system call is failing.
tusc -fp -ea -o tusc.out application-PID

You can kill that tusc if you have collected enough info in tusc.out.
