Re: Problem with Oracle installation
Shut the system down and start over. I know it sounds harsh, but it's sometimes better to have a clean go at it.

Re: Problem with Oracle installation
you have to reboot the system and start all over again. Before you do run the pfs processes, make sure your NFS is enabled and working okay.
Here is a link which might help you in setting up the pfs_mount and troubleshoot the problem if any,
http://us-support3.external.hp.com/cki/bin/doc.pl/sid=8f9b38ec14db4f034f/screen=ckiDisplayDocument?docId=200000058961281
Hope this helps.

Re: Problem with Oracle installation
check the flags in /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf are set to 1 ( NFS_CLIENT & NFS_SERVER)
DO
#/sbin/init.d/nfs.server stop
#/sbin/init.d/nfs.client start
#/sbin/init.d/nfs.server start
#/sbin/init.d/nfs.client start
#pfs_mount /SDROM

Re: Problem with Oracle installation
Ensure that your host name resoultion is working fine , (can ping your hostname) , network is up otherwise pfs_mount will not working properly.
