Re: Problem with command vacation in HPUX 10.20

Hi,

What is the exact command you try to run?

There are 3 " characters. One is too many or too little. :)

And there is the pipe character before /usr so what is the full command line?

Bob

I use "|/usr/bin/vacation username "

My house is the bank's, my money the wife's, But my opinions belong to me, not HP!

Also interesting to note that error 0 is "no error".
But I grea that there is probably one " too much. I would expect this to be the $HOME/.forward file and that it would read "|/usr/bin/vacation -a user". Where user is the login name of the user.
