Problem with jpeg lib and mpeg_encoder

I have installed the following, mpeg_encode 1.5b and jpeg-6b both from source and from depots and I get the same results when I try and create an mpeg using mpeg_encode.

Wrong JPEG library version: library is 62, caller expects 2063864784

This works fine in an older 10.20 machine but nobody remembers how we installed it there..been there for 3 years now, memories are foggy.

Does anyone know what I missed?
