Proliant ML330 G# and RH3 rev4 install problem
I am running a clean install
This machine does not recognize its ide drive.
It has a CSA-6 Ultra 100 controller with a maxtor disk.
The smart start disk does not supply a driver.
Any ideas?

Re: Proliant ML330 G# and RH3 rev4 install problem
I'm assuming that this 'CSA-6 Ultra' wasn't supplied with the server by HP?
Could I get some more details on what the 'CSA-6' actually is? I asumme it's some sort of SATA controller, but.. Who makes it? Is it a SATA RAID controller?
I was unable to find any concrete details about it, let alone know what driver you should use for it.

One long-haired git at your service...

Re: Proliant ML330 G# and RH3 rev4 install problem
Even I also faced same type of issue. I think RHEL 3 U4 installer doesn't have driver for that controller. We need to manually provide driver that.
RHEL 4 U1 and SLES 9 SP1 will recognize the ide drive and installation goes fine.
