Quick Launch Toolbar

I am trying to add a quick launch toolbar to my task bar. Following instructions given in a previous message, I uninstalled IE 5.0, downloaded IE 4.0 and selected YES for Windows Desktop Update but at the last step of setup I get a message saying " setup was unable to download information about available installation site" I click Retry but I get the same message. Can anyone help? thanks

Why do not just right click on your taskbar and from you toolbars select Quick Launch

When I right click on my task bar there is no toolbar option. I upgraded my browser from an old version of IE (before Quick launch was introduced in IE 4.0) to IE 5.0. I found out that in order to get Quick launch I must first uninstall IE 5.0, install IE 4.0 then I can upgrade to IE 5.0. The problem I have been having is with installing IE 4.0 ( see original message). Thanks

You must have Win 95 as this was the method to get the taskbar then. I don't think IE 4.0 is available anymore.

The best way now is to upgrade to Win 98, any version, which all have it included.

I am using Windows NT4.0 sp6. Is there another way of getting Quick Launch?
