Quickplay issues

I have a Pavillion DV6000 notebook. I have been using Quickplay as a default DVD player since my DVD player broke a few months ago. Lately, it has automatically put subtitles on every DVD that I watch as a default setting or something. I'm hoping someone here knows how to take them off and/or change the setting without having to change it for every movie or TV episode that I watch.
