RH AS NMI and ASR
Hi,
I am having some problems with RH AS cluster and HP management drivers. I would like to enable NMI watchdog (nmi_watchdog=1 in grub.conf) but it seems to conflict with hpasm because of system crashes when hpasm 6.40 loads.
I would like to keep hpasm because of thermal shutdown, fan speed and other features if possible.

Re: RH AS NMI and ASR
grub handles what kernel you boot off of. If you want to run programs like NMI watchdog, they should be installed to run at run levels.
Unix 101 here. /etc/rc1.d run level 1 points to /etc/init.d startup scripts.
Unless the docs on NMI say to mess with grub, don't.
