RHEL 4 AS U3 - Qlogic 8.01.04 drivers

Hello,
Has anyone have luck/successful install of the Qlogic 8.01.04 drivers for Red Hat AS 4 U3 on a BL35p server? I followed the directions provided by qlogic but after rebooting the server, the OS is still using the built-in drivers.

Thanks

One thing that I've noticed with the latest QLogic drivers is that the firmware on the boards themselves needs to be completely up to date as well. Plus, it is helpful if the system/server firmware is up to date also.

I just got a response back from Red Hat stating that the latest Qlogic drivers are in Update 4.

U4 is still in beta.

Re: RHEL 4 AS U3 - Qlogic 8.01.04 drivers

I would suggest using the qlogic drivers from the PSP, not from the qlogic site.

PSP
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/24759.html
which has version 8.01.03p4-20b

Is there any reason for 8.01.04 ?
