RHEL 5 Cluster with iSCSI SAN

Hi

I am going to implement a RHEL5 Faillover Cluster for Database Server. I have following resources:

2 unit HP DL380G6 Server with 6 Nic
1 unit MSA2312i Storage
2 unit Procurve 2910 Switch.

I need a action plan to do the job.

I think you should go through Cluster Administration.

I work for HPE.

Re: RHEL 5 Cluster with iSCSI SAN

First:
Are you planning to do an 11G RAC Configuration? Or a simple Redhat CLuster with the Oracle Database as a Service of the Cluster?

Second:
Are you planning to use ASM Storage and GFS2 or ASM and OCFS2?

Third:
Are all your 6 (Gigabit?) NICS going to be used and do you have trunking available on your LAN infrastructure.

Let us know.
