Re: RHEL3 U6 on DL380 G5
Hello Annes,
you need a driver for the Smart Array controller. You can it download here for x86:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1121516&swItem=MTX-144196190cf84801a48efda51f&prodNameId=3288134&swEnvOID=1080&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=4&idx=1
Take this disk image and copy it with dd to a floppy. Then you can install the driver during the setup process.
Best regards,
Patrick

Re: RHEL3 U6 on DL380 G5
Hi,
According to Red Hat you need to be using Update 7.
You might be able to get it working by installing the driver as mentioned previously, but you would probably be best going for a certified release.

Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rob
