Simpler Navigation for Servers and Operating Systems
Completed: a much simpler Servers and Operating Systems section of the Community. We combined many of the older boards, so you won't have to click through so many levels to get at the information you need. Check the consolidated boards here as many sub-forums are now single boards.

RMAN DEBUG

I am using rman to tape for our Oracle DB's. I want to increase the debug level for trouble shooting. I know I've done it before, I just can not remember how. I know I added a 'debug=9' in the rman script or something like debug'something'. Maybe in the script where you allocate sbt=tape and channels? I know it creates a sbttape log or something like that. Any help is appreciated.

Re: RMAN DEBUG

"debug on;" in the script where you have the "allocate channel etc etc"
Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"
