Reason for FC Link Down.

Hello All,

I have come across this situation many a times. The FC link from a server to the SAN goes down. I have faced this situation in HPUX environment and now also on Linux environment.

there must be a small fluctuation in the FC connectivity. hence the link goes down and comes back up. Does not really cause any downtime cause we have redundant link between the storage and the server throught the SAN switch.

Looking for reasons why the link goes down.
