For today HP suport RH on there hardware,
they also suport another 6-8 linux distributions.
As for the release 9 of RH it depend
on the server that you have (but RH8 it's and should have less problems with hw).

Red Hat has tested this hardware and certified that the OS runs on it.
If your concern is your support agreement with HP you need to contact HP directly.
