Red Hat 9.0 - Proliant Server Support?

When does HP plan on supporting and certifying Red Hat 9.0? Especially for Proliant servers?

Hello!

For today HP suport RH on there hardware,
they also suport another 6-8 linux distributions.

As for the release 9 of RH it depend
on the server that you have (but RH8 it's and should have less problems with hw).

Connect to hp suport for more details.

HP's testing cycle is typically behind that of outsiders such as Red Hat. It is however more thorough and may results in bug fixes for certain issues they discover.

Red Hat has tested this hardware and certified that the OS runs on it.

If your concern is your support agreement with HP you need to contact HP directly.

My main concern would be Compaq agents for Red Hat 9.0. I utilize Insight Manager 7 to monitor my Netware, Windows 2000, and Red Hat servers. All of our servers are Proliants and the most recent purchases are DL 380s. My Red Hat box is a DL 380 G2.

.. my concern would be the racket they make .. The agents are the only thing that can turn the damn fan-speed down!
