Redhat 9 CDROM error on ML350

I was just wondering if anybody has come up with a solution or workaround for install Redhat 9 on an ML350

What have you tried?

Does booting the installation cd with
"linux ide=nodma" help?

Can you boot from an installation floppy and
install via network?
