Redundancy
I see some good exchange on redundancy but I have still a question:
if I have 2(N+1) what level we consider temporary solution, I mean grid, diesel generator is a constant back-up but UPS runs out after a ceratin time. Is there any standard governs how long a solution should work to be considered a back-up?
Thx

Re: Redundancy
Hi Peter,
I'm afraid that there is no standardization for power supply backup time, all it depending on your needs. Battery UPS can supply power only to hours limited time, diesel generator several days without fuel refilling.
Best regards
Robert

Re: Redundancy
Robert,
Thx. Can I ask you some further questions privately as I do not want to do on public domain?
