Reflection X doesn't connect
I tried to use Reflection X on my Windows XP machine to connect to a HP-UX 11iv3 machine. At "Client Startup", I selected hpux and SECURE SHELL, which the machine requires, after typed in the IP, login name I hit "Connect" and a Secure Shell Client popped up and asked for password. I typed in the password and hit OK. nothing showed up afterwards: no session, no error message.
What can I do? I used putty and SSH, I logged in from the same XP machine with no problem. But I wanted an X-window, which putty doesn't provide. Please help. Thanks!

Re: Reflection X doesn't connect
HI,
What is the error message you are getting?
did you check the syslog.log file is there any error message over there.
did you set this veriables
edit /etc/profile as,
export DISPLAY=$(getip `who -mu | awk '{ print $NF }'`):0.0
Suraj

Re: Reflection X doesn't connect
Suraj,
There is no error message. I clicked OK to connect, nothing showed up as if I've never asked for a connection.
syslog.log didn't show any error either.
I added the export DISPLAY line as you indicated in etc/profile but it didn't help.

Probably not a good idea, if you're using the
X-tunneling feature of SSH. It might make
some sense to set DISPLAY in a shell start-up
script, _if_ it's not already set.
