I want to restrict some OS user to send mail.
How can i do this?

1.Touch /etc/mail/access
2.Add the mail details inside the file like logesh@
You can also keep log of the Relay/Reject requests by creating .db file in the same location.

Also, don't run the sendmail daemon.
There is no need to run it unless you are receiving INBOUND mail.
You should to use the m4 utility to create a new sendmail.cf file after making changes to the access file and the access.db
These changes will be implemented immediately, but there is benefit to generating a new file.

Actually I have to restrict some UNIX user to send mail but allowed users will send mail as usual.

You could use procmail to restrict some OS user(s) to send mail. This is a very powerfull package and it is a must for any SMTP server.
