Route mail for an alias to a specific user
We are looking to route mail that comes into our server to a single user. This was working via the virtusertable feature until we actually setup the alias in dns, now we just receive "name_of_luser_relay: host name lookup failure" errors.
To further explain this let me list some examples.
Server is server1.company.com.
Alias is alias1.company.com
E-mail comes into server1.company.com going to user1@alias1.company.com.
We have the virtusertable setup as:
@alias1.company.com tempuser
I've looked at this so long I'm not sure why things are not working. It seems like because we have a DNS entry for alias1.company.com it is ignoring the virtusertable entries.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
