SA-6402 & HP-UX11

Hi,
I want to configure a RAID0+1(Mirror) by SA6402 on a hp9000-rp3410 with HP-UX11 installed.
How can i do this?
Should i connect the SCSI HDD back panel directly to SA-6402 or not?
Regards.

You should follow the instructions in this manual:

http://docs.hp.com/en/5971-4280_2nd_ed/5971-4280-2nd-ed.pdf

I expect the section on rp3440 also applies to rp3410

Shalom,

You need to check the scsi specifications on the SA-6402 versus the rp3410.

The documentation on the rp3410 shows it is probably lvd scsi, see http://docs.hp.com

If the specification matches, you can do a simple hook up with the right scsi table.

You may or may not be able to boot from this.

Re: SA-6402 & HP-UX11

Thank you guys.
I want to boot the rp3440 from SA-6402, but when the system boots up, does not identify 2x36GB HDD's that have connected to SA-6402.
Actually, i want to Mirror(RAID0+1) 2x36GB by the SA and install HP-UX OE on them.
How can i do this?
Regards.

Did you read the manual linked above? It's all there.

Hope this helps!
