Will IRS function normail? if SIM Adapter plugin is not enabled.?

Re: SIM Adapter
Hi Naveen,
Integrating with HP SIM is completely optional with Insight Remote Support 7.0.5.
If you don't want to integrate with HP SIM, you can just install Insight Remote Support 7.0.5 and it will function normally.
If you do want to integrate with HP SIM, you have 2 options:
1) Easiest: Install HP SIM before installing Insight Remote Support 7.0.5. Insight Remote Support 7.0.5 will automatically install the HP SIM Adapter. You will still need to log onto the Insight Remote Support UI (at https://hostingdevicename:7906) and navigate to Administrator Settings -> Integration Adapters to enable the HP SIM Adapter and specify your HP SIM credentials.
2) Install Insight Remote Support without HP SIM installed. Insight Remote Support will not install the HP SIM adapter because HP SIM is not installed. Later, install HP SIM. To install, enable, and configure the HP SIM Adapter in Insight Remote Support do the following:
- open the Insight Remote Support UI (https://hostingdevicename:7906)
- navigate to Administrator Settings -> Version Control
- click the "Check for New Update" button. This will populate the software product list to list "HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM) Adapter ".
- Highlight the HP SIM Adapter in the product list, choose the "Available Version" tab at the bottom of the screen, and click the "Install" button
- After the HP SIM Adapter has finished installing, enable it and specify HP SIM credentials by navigating to "Administrator Settings->Integration Adapters" using the main navigational drop down in the top left corner of the screen.
Best Regards,
