SLES9 and ML310 G5
Hi,
when i try to install my SLES9 SP3 on the ML310 G5 the server boots from CD.
When start the installation an message is displayed: Cant find the CD1. Start manual installation.
On the manual installation the setup display the message: Cant mount cdrom.
Ther is an SATA DVD in the server.

Re: SLES9 and ML310 G5
Shalom Norbert,
You might want to try and set up a USB boot and try a network installation that does not use your DVD. There appears to be a driver missing in SLES9 SP3.
Or a newer version of the OS that includes drivers.

Re: SLES9 and ML310 G5
SLES 9 has reached SP 4, used SP 4 CD 1 to boot the system, and once the system boots from SP4 CD 1, it will ask you to provide the CD 1 of SLES 9(core SLES 9 CD 1 media).
