SSL certificate for WebLogic on HPUX 11i

Dear Sirs,

I am configuring SSL on WebLogic 7.x on HPUX 11i.
In the weblogic console for configuring SSL certificate, I noticed "Trusted CA File Name".

Can someone explain the purpose of this "Trusted CA File Name" ?

Thanks,
Shiv

Re: SSL certificate for WebLogic on HPUX 11i

Hi Shiv,

CA is meant by Certificate Authority. A local trusted CA is deal for services not offered to the public. You can setup your own trusted Certificate Authority with the help of OpenSSL.
For setting up CA, refer this link

http://sial.org/howto/openssl/ca/
