SU_ROOT_GROUP for Oracle Id

hi all

i setup an su root group and /etc/securetty to prevent direct root login and force su to root only.

is is possible to do the same thing to the oracle id?

Hi,

you could not distribute the password and
allow to do the switch to oracle user via sudo

sudo su - oracle

requires no password and without the password nobody can login.

Security will be through login with personal userid and the required sudo config.
